Known as Shining karamū its a compact, small, evergreen tree or shrub with large, thick, glossy, green leaves & has fabulous large, red/orange berries attractive to birds and bees. Its also a hardy type. It can be used as a low shelter or hedge or as part of your plantings for increasing diversity.

Suits dry/moist conditions from coast up to 700m.
