Little River Community Centre
The Little River Community Centre belongs to the community. It’s available for regular classes, one-off events, and informal community use.
It’s run by a small committee of local volunteers, who look after the booking process, the building, and the day-to-day running of the hall.
Whether you’re after space for a class, a private function, or a community fundraiser, the hall holds up to 180 people, fill out the form below and a committee member will be in touch.

Okuti Hall
A charming converted schoolroom that holds up to 40 people, with its own fully equipped kitchen. Doors open onto a veranda overlooking a flat green lawn and boules area, dotted with shady trees and looking down over the bowling green.
The hall is regularly hired for exercise classes such as pilates, meetings, family parties, and the occasional wedding.
We welcome hirers who use the hall in a respectful manner and guidelines are provided before booking. Hire rates vary depending on use, ranging from $10 to $30 per hour.

Little River Service Centre | Meeting Rooms
The Little River Service Centre on Main Road is home to the Little River Library, and has two meeting rooms available to hire.
The Board Room
Seats up to 28 people, ideal for larger meetings and group events
The Little Room
Seats up to 10 people, perfect for smaller gatherings.
Bookings are made directly with the Service Centre . You can book in person, by email at counter.littleriver@ccc.govt.nz or by phone on 03 941 7923.
Community use and meetings are free. Profit-making businesses are charged $10 per hour.
