Rail Trail

THRailtrail LeafletE CHCH TO LITTLE RIVER RAIL TRAIL

Walk it, hike it, bike it ……. the Little River Rail Trail from the Historic Railway Station Building to Motukarara – a return trip of approx. 46k’s an be comfortably cycled in a day or you can bike or walk it one way.  Toilets at the “Station”, Catons Bay, Kaituna, Motukarara.  From Little River to Birdlings Flat approx 9k’s from Little River to Motukarara 2k’s. If staying in Little River why not walk to the Little River Hotel and have lunch or tea.  Or walk on further to Catons Bay and feed the ducks or watch the black swans and the interesting bird life that abound on the shores of Lake Forsyth. Toilet facilities.
