The Little River Book Club is part of the Book Discussion Scheme. The BDS provide a catalogue each year containing a huge variety of books from which the book club members select titles they would like to read. Each month the BDS supplies us with one of our choices. We all read the same book and then discuss it at the next meeting. We are a small friendly group, the discussion is light hearted and we often stray off the subject. We would love to have a few more members and anyone interested is quite welcome to come along to a meeting before deciding whether to join .

We have a small fund which is available to provide some financial support for people who have cancer or are undergoing cancer treatment by way of donations for petrol, meals and other. We are are group of volunteers that generate funds locally for residents who may have cancer from Kaituna, Birdlings Flat area, Little River up to the Hilltop.LITTLE RIVER TOY LIBRARY
