WAINUI PARK CAMPING
The most picturesque camp site on the Banks Peninsula and the only one in Wainui!
Space for up to 60 campers with facilities including a basic kitchen area with barbeque, picnic tables, ablution block, and vehicle access off Wainui Valley Road.
Our camp ground is open to the public for camping but is also available to schools and other groups for exclusive booking.
The Okains Bay Camping Ground is located in the idyllic Okains Bay, on Banks Peninsula in the South Island, approximately one and a quarter hours drive from Christchurch and only 15 kms from the popular tourist resort of Akaroa.

LITTLE AKALOA CAMPING GROUND
Directions-Coming from Little River follow the Summit Road to Akaroa turning left into Little Akaloa Road. Follow this road to nearly the end. The Camping Ground is on the right hand side by the tennis courts.
Power sites 0, Non-Powered sites 13, Sewage Disposal: No. Wilderness camping ground, toilet, playing area for children, tennis court. Easy walking access to a safe swimming beach and boat launching. Rubbish disposal 2km’s on road out of the bay.

PIGEON BAY CAMP GROUND
Directions – Reach Pigeon Bay from the Akaroa crater summit road. At the beach turn right in Pigeon Bay and follow the road around to the camp. Located on the Pigeon Bay waterfront, near the wharf and with a sheltered swimming beach. Lots of trees give privacy and the camp is little used outside the main summer holiday period.
